Last night's episode of 'American Idol' was home to the debut of a new collaboration between crooner Jamie Foxx and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am.

The song, an upbeat number entitled 'Hot Wings (I Wanna Party),' got a premiere audience in the multi-millions via the popular national show. Foxx and will.i.am created a memorable visual for viewers with live samba drummers and Carnival-inspired backing dancers.

'Hot Wings (I Wanna Party)' is slated to appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming animated feature film 'Rio.' The tune is an appropriate pop dedication to the country of Brazil and its rich musical and dance history. Besides features galloping drums that fall somewhere between South America, the song also showcases the sounds of a high school marching band drumline. As for the lyrics, they're typically poppy and are mainly about partying, dancing and living one's life to the fullest.

This music collaboration isn't the duo's only contribution to the movie, either. Both artists will also do voice-overs for the animated feature. 'Rio' has an all-star cast that includes 'The Social Network' star Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jane Lynch, Robin Thicke and many more. The film is slated to hit theaters on April 15.

When asked why viewers should see the flick, Foxx said that the answer was easy. "It's for the whole family," he told 'Idol' host Ryan Seacrest.
