James Fauntleroy put a different spin on Rihanna's "James Joint" on "James Joint II." The Cali singer, songwriter also wrote the original song, so he's probably the best person to breathe new life into it.

In the cover, Fauntleroy took out some of the lows of the original and replaced them with long, sweeping piano melodies and his airy vocals. This particular reinterpretation can be found on the 32-year-old's Dojo EP, which he dropped in February. Yesterday (April 20), the talented musician tweeted about the cover and said he believes it's pretty special.

"I think I have a serious a-- gift for the world today. Lol," he wrote. "Or however many thousand people check my SoundCloud."
