In a recent interview with XXL, Miami rapper Jacki-O called out DJ Khaled for mispronouncing the hoods. "I have a problem when the DJ feel like he more powerful than the artist and I think that's the stance that he takes when it come to this music and it's just ridiculous, so I do have a problem with him. It's not just me, but a lot of people do. Maybe they think it and don't say it but I choose to say it because I feel like it's an injustice and it's not right and it's not fair, so I'm callin' [Khaled] out on it... On air, he not even sayin' the hoods right, he saying the hoods wrong! His syllables is wrong when he shoutin' out the cities, and the hoods...it's crazy [you can tell that] he not from Miami...We accepted you in our city and you were chosen to rep our city and then you get in office and you flip the script, that's crazy!" Not pronouncing the hoods right is not winning, Khaled. [XXL]

Former Destiny's Child member Farrah Franklin recently discussed her experience as a member of Beyonce's group, explaining that she was already a boss before she joined the band, sort of. "It was so crazy, because although Beyonce is who she is today, we were friends first and I was already doing my own thing. I already had a $650,000 house. I already had a Beamer and Benz. To be honest with you, my cars were better than theirs. That's how I was meeting them. My man was a manager for K-Ci & Jojo, so we were well off, plus I was working three jobs on top of that, including modeling here and there. So I didn't feel like the playing field was too much different. I've been doing this since I was 4-years-old. I was always the captain of my team." We don't believe you... [Vibe]
