J.I.D Spits Crazy Bars During His Funkmaster Flex Freestyle [VIDEO]

Atlanta rapper J.I.D has been making a lot of noise with his impressive full-length effort, The Never Story. Recently, theDreamville artist proved why his buzz is so hot with his ferocious lyrical display during his Funkmaster Flex freestyle.

J.I.D dropped some electrifying bars over classic 1990s instrumentals during his seven-minute freestyle session. Over a DJ Premier-produced beat, the 26-year-old rapped, "I know I'm bound to make it / Boy, I'm the cow manure / Megatron with the puns, I'm like the Calvin boy."

Later, J.I.D boasts about his lyrical prowess over the instrumental to Notorious B.I.G.'s classic banger, "Who Shot Ya."

"J.I.D got all the rhymes, all the rhythms / I grab pens, calculate flows, algorithms," he raps, adding, "I don't feel these n----s / Down south Georgia boy watching Troy / I'm going to kill these n----s."
