Homeboy Sandman has announced that his second full-length album for Stones Throw will be titled 'Hallways,' scheduled for release Sept. 2. Along with the announcement of this new LP, the Queens, N.Y., MC has unveiled the first single, 'America, the Beautiful.'

Sandman's Stones Throw label mate Jonwayne provides him with a soulful backdrop to wax poetic about the benefits and difficulties of living in the U.S.

"Running water, three bedrooms / A public school for every quarter, a store on every corner / A public defender, appoin'd to every pauper / Affordable Jet Blue, anyone of you could've bought a flying saucer / Access to cough drops and pork chops / Sports facilities in every vicinity for free / You must be kidding me this ain't the place to be," Sandman raps.

'Hallways' will feature production by Oh No, J57 of the Brown Bag AllStars, DJ Spinna, 2 Hungry Bros, Knxledge and the aforementioned Jonwayne, among others. Pre-orders for the album are available now via Stones Throw's official online store.
