HBO announced on Tuesday that it's giving Insecure another go round on the network. The hit show will be back for season 3 and co-creator Issa Rae couldn't be more excited as she took to social media to express just how happy she and the team are following the news.

In the same announcement, the network also said that it would be renewing Ballers for its fourth season. Both shows have been doing exceedingly well, garnering their highest ratings to date during the first few episodes of the current seasons.

“We’re thrilled that the summer lineup of Ballers and Insecure connected with our viewers out of the gate,” said Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of HBO Programming. “We’re so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows.”

Insecure, which was created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, follows the friendship of two black women as they deal with their own real-life flaws while attempting to navigate different worlds and cope with an endless series of uncomfortable and awkward everyday experiences. Rae, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis and Lisa Joyce star in the show, which returned for its eight-episode second season on July 23. Rae also executive produces along with showrunner Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry.

The team showed they were "hella excited" for the new season with a special made Instagram post:
