Teyana Taylor, the first lady of G.O.O.D. Music, is celebrating her 25th birthday today (Dec. 10).

Taylor, who once starred on MTV's My Super Sweet 16, carries her weight among the immensely talented artists in the G.O.O.D. Music crew. Her uncredited voice can be heard on the hook to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy's opener "Dark Fantasy." Taylor also appeared on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Summer, with "Bliss," her duet ballad with John Legend.

Although she signed to G.O.O.D. Music in 2012, Taylor didn't release her debut album, VII, until November 2014. The collection didn't sell well — under 30,000 copies overall — but those who heard it found an enjoyable collection of lush, throwback R&B sounds.

These days Taylor is preparing herself for motherhood. Last September, she and fiance NBA star Iman Shumpert revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.
