Gucci Mane may finally be a free man in March. The "Trap House" rapper's label, 1017 Records, shared the good news via Instagram on Monday (Jan. 4).

"Guwop get out in march 2016," read the caption with a photo of Mane in a black suit and red tie. Now while there's no official word from the rapper's attorney, this is good news for his fans who have been patiently waiting for him to be released from prison.

The rumor that the Ice Cream Man was getting out started spreading since late month after a post on the rhymer's Instagram claimed he was getting out "sooner than later." "Hurry [and] catch the wave," it continued. And now it's seemingly confirmed to be true, according to XXL.

Gucci is already gearing up for his return to the rap game too. His first move was deleting all of his social media accounts. Sean Paine, Gucci's engineer and link to the music world told Pigeons and Planes that the rhymer “wants to wait until he gets out to build anticipation and resurface everything under the new Gucci brand."

Last year, Gucci Mane released an open letter to his fans explaining why he’s different from other artists while referring to himself as “the Machine.”

“The difference between me and the average entertainer is they dream of signing to a major label so they can have this giant machine push them and propel them to stardom,” he writes in the missive, “but I don’t have that dream.”

“My reality is I am all I got. I am the machine behind me. The streets signed me and the Trap named me God,” he adds. “I am a Machine. They call me Gucci some call me Guwop but they should call me The Machine.”

Hopefully, if the news is true, fans will be able to to hear Gucci really flex his lyrical muscles after his release from prison in March. Stay tuned.
