Shortly after taking his ankle bracelet off, Guwop headed to New York City to announce that he landed a book deal with Simon & Schuster.

It's not hard to know that an autobiography from Guwop would be an easy sell. The 36-year-old rapper has certainly had a number of noteworthy moments in his 11-year career. Between his beef with Young Jeezy, getting an ice cream cone tattooed on his face, becoming a meme before memes were popular and releasing music from behind the bars, we're sure that this book will be a must-read.

But that's not all. Gucci is staying busy. After debuting at No. 2 on Billboard 200 with his album, Everybody Looking back in July, he's set to drop another LP, Woptober, later this year. He's also slated to appear in Harmony Korine-directed film, The Trap, alongside Al Pacino, Benicio del Toro and James Franco. On top of that, he's planning to release a clothing line dubbed Delantic.

"We just trying to make a super-duper dope clothing line," said Gucci in an interview with GQ. "Exclusive. Super trend. Super hip. Well made. Well crafted. Something that you be proud to spend your money on, and when you get it you really got a collectors item."

Gucci isn't the the only rhymer to pen a book this year. Lil Wayne's Gone Til' November is slated to hit book shelves in October. The non-fiction piece is set to tell of the eight months he spent at the notorious New York prison, Rikers Island.
