Gucci Mane is in hot water again. Several hours ago, the Atlanta MC faced a Fulton County Superior Court judge who ordered the rapper be thrown back into prison for a probation violation.

Gucci, born Radric Davis, faces a possible 17-month prison sentence if convicted of the violation, which stems from an arrest last year. The rapper's attorney requested the judge give him an ankle monitor rather than throw him behind bars. However, Gucci's probation officer insisted he be placed in custody. The judge agreed with the request.

The 30-year-old 'Lemonade' creator must appear at a hearing set for Jan. 24, in Fulton County Superior Court. If convicted, the time served will put a damper on his fourth studio album, 'The State vs. Radric Davis 2: The Verdict,' which is scheduled for release this year.

A week before the Christmas holiday (Dec. 16), Gucci was arrested at Waka Flocka Flame's Georgia home, after it was raided by police. Law enforcement officials suspected the rapper of engaging in a prostitution ring. Gucci was released several hours after the incident.
