Legendary California rap group Cypress Hill have announced plans to re-launch their 'Smokeout' festival this October. The annual event, which ran from 1998 to 2003, will make its return in San Bernadino, Calif., and will feature two days of Cypress-approved events, such as the Smokeout Cannabis Cup, Medical Marijuana Expo and a "420" movie night of classic stoner films.

Of course, the highlight (sorry) will be the performances. Besides Cypress, the festival features weed-friendly performers like Redman & Method Man, Devin the Dude, Cheech and Chong, Sublime, Bad Brains (!), Kottonmouth Kings, and less overtly herbally influenced artists like Hieroglyphics, Deftones, Slipknot, Immortal Technique, K'Naan, Living Legends, Mix Master Mike, Afrika Bambaataa and more.

The Smoke Out will also present highly-anticipated performances by a re-united Goodie Mob (with all original members, meaning Cee-Lo, too) and Geto Boys (Willie D., Scarface and Bushwick Bill, no Big Mike).

"It's a stoner's dream come true," said Cypress Hill MC B-Real, in an interview about the festival. "Our fans deserve an event that celebrates our love of music and marijuana culture. It's gonna take two days to take it all in. I can't wait to play some new music and hang with all our friends and fans."

Smokers, mark all your schedules for Cypress Hill's Smoke Out on Oct. 23 and 24. Pre-sale tickets are available Friday, Sept. 4.

"The spirit of the Smokeout is centered in unifying people, music, while being embraced by the world's oldest miracle herb," concluded Cypress' DJ Muggs. "This two day festival of high vibrations of lifted music with friends and family is truly exciting to see take form and once again rock the stage with some of the best musical acts in the world."

Sounds like an event to remember, for those that don't, there will probably be video.
