Kendrick Lamar is piloting the mothership in George Clinton's latest video for "Ain't That Funkin Hard on You (Remix)" which also features Ice Cube.

Aboard the psychedelic ship, Lamar abducts comedian Michael Colyar and heads to another world aptly called "Planet Funk" that is filled with androids and aliens. But he doesn't land the ship without kicking off into a verse first. "Two tears in a bucket I'll cry with ya, huh But I can never lie with ya I can never afford not to afford I can never put my plans to the side with ya I can never see a red light like a deer with a head light I freeze up when I re-up," he raps. (The verse also appeared in "Ain't That Funkin' Kinda Hard on You? (Louie Vega Remix).") Then, as Clinton heads off into the chorus, Lamar dusts off the P-Funk leader's get-up.

Ice Cube is up next with some "still got it" rhymes as he boasts about his son O'Shea Jackson who starred as Cube in last year's film, Straight Outta Compton.

"Turned O'Shea into N.W.A. / Triple O.G. / Ain't never sold a ki / Ain't never did time / They still respect mine," rhymes the former N.W.A. member.

According to Pigeons and Planes, Clinton was apprehensive about teaming up with Lamar. “But you know, after I met him and talked with him I realized it’s just his era of communication, and he had a lot of other stuff to say,” Clinton told the site. “He was saying things in brand new metaphors that I knew was going to f--- people up.”

Clinton, who also worked with Lamar on the Compton rhymer's Grammy-Award winning album, To Pimp a Butterfly, also spoke about his love for the rapper with The FADER. "I love everything on [Kendrick Lamar's] album. Really proud to be a part of it. As a matter of fact, he just did one with me, on my album. He reminds me of when Pac was with Digital Underground. You can see it and you can feel it in you, but you can't put no interpretation on it. They use a term nowadays: "Do you feel me?" "Can you feel me?" Well, all you can do is feel him. And I feel the positive in it. I have no idea how to explain what he's talking about, but he just feel good! You know if your intention is great, it's all that matters."
