G-Unit Return With ‘Come Up’

When it comes to getting money and slaying the competition, G-Unit does it big. That’s the overall message they give in their new song ‘Come Up.’

Sampling a big chunk of the Gap Band’s 1982 cut ‘Outstanding,’ all four members, including New Orleans spitter Kidd Kidd, exchange venomous bars about staying fly and being a musical force to be reckoned with.

“Steppin’ with my strap on me, cracks on me / In this hole in the wall club with a hundred packs on me / Got the goons out, you know we don’t do much / Catch you coming out the club if you doing too much,” rhymes Young Buck.

But it’s the head of the G-Unit body, 50 Cent, that does the most lyrical damage. “I got the kind of success it’s hard to match it / Tear the Unit apart put it back together / I’m strong I ain’t ain’t mentioning what I’m benching / I’m Merrill Lynching in the mall I’ll blow your pension,” he spits.

After complaining for months about how some of the G-Unit members weren’t working hard, it looks like 50 has truly re-shifted their focus.
