Future Details Come-Up on ‘Rock Star’ Featuring Nicki Minaj

It sounds like Future may have another radio hit on his hands, thanks to a frantic, head-nodding beat and the help of Nicki Minaj.

On  the Atlanta crooner's new cut 'Rock Star,' he suspends the singing and chooses to spit some bars, while detailing his rise to success. "My n----s rocking gold like we're stuck back in the 80s / I seen my first M and damn near went crazy / I went and bought a Ghost and tried to crash a Mercedes / I f---ed this n---- ho and almost made her my lady," he raps.

But it's Queen Barb who takes the song over the top with impressive wordplay and 100 percent swagger. "Be clear, cover Marie Claire / Million dollar show in India she's there / My own drink Moscato Myx now / They seen freaks so it's pasties on they t--s now / Cuban link up, cue the Brinks truck / If I was a n---- I'd be getting my d--- sucked," she spits.

Reportedly, the DJ Clue-produced track didn't make Future's current album, 'Honest,' due to clearance issues since the track features a sample of George Michael’s 1984 hit 'Careless Whisper.' But better late than never, right? Fans of the Dungeon Family affiliate should be pretty happy about this one.
