Since 1998, Funko has been been selling officially licensed collectible figurines of pop culture stars with their Pop! line. We're looking at the times they've created versions of hip-hop and R&B stars in the gallery below.

As of now, their selection for hip-hop and R&B musicians consists of figures for Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Public Enemy, Run-D.M.C.Michael Jackson and Prince. But they make up for the lack of quantity with a very strong eye for detail in capturing some of their most iconic looks.

Tupac's red bandana is in its place around his head, as is his "Thug Life" tattoo across his torso. Biggie is resplendently decked out in his cream-colored suit, wide-brimmed hat and cane, and there's also a limited-edition metallic one. Chuck D has his red Public Enemy baseball cap on, and Flavor Flav has the giant clock around his neck. And, of course, Run-D.M.C. are wearing their Adidas.

Jackson has been represented five times, with looks made famous in the "Billie Jean," "Beat It," "Bad" and "Smooth Criminal" videos, and also the shiny military jacket that he wore to the 1984 Grammys, complete with only one glove.

And they're frequently adding more names to their collection. They unveiled three figurines of Prince in August 2018, using outfits and guitars used by him in Purple Rain, the "Raspberry Beret" video and the 3rdeyegirl era. As much as we'd like to see it, we're not going to hold our breath for them to recreate his infamous outfit from the1991 MTV Video Music Awards.

In addition to musicians, including classic rockers, the Pop! series also has figurines for athletes, movie and television characters -- real and animated, superheroes and video games. You can check them all out at their website.
