Funkmaster Flex, the legendary New York City DJ, car fanatic and Hot 97 personality, might be atop the ratings when it comes to radio, but that doesn't mean he's above the law. According to TMZ, the hefty DJ was reportedly arrested earlier today in New York after a 40-year-old woman from Westchester called police and said that Flex pushed her, attempted to shatter her cell phone and then sent over some threatening messages.

Enough to warrant a domestic violence complaint, Flex had completely disappeared when the cops arrived at the scene. The woman insisted that he "went ballistic," but as of press time there is no other public proof of incident. Nonetheless, police arrested Flex after a short search. He was booked on charges of harassment, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

Flex is now out on bail, which was set at $500, after being arraigned at Greenburgh Town Court earlier today. The court informed him that he is to stay away from his accuser until there is a full hearing on the matter. Currently, the hearing is set for later this month, but authorities have yet to announce the exact date. Either way, we hope he drops some of his trademark bombs during the opening statement.
