It’s official. Longtime Bad Boy Records affiliate French Montana is signed to Bad Boy and Epic Records.

"This means everything to me," Montana said in a statement (via The Associated Press). "It's a new home. A new deal. A new structure. A new family. New money...as far as Puff and L.A. Reid, I feel like they are the last of a dying breed of people who still care about music. I respect everything they do."

The Wave Gods rhymer celebrated the announcement with the release of his music video "Figure It Out," featuring Kayne West and Nas. The fellas shot it earlier this year but with his new deal and new focus, the Bronx MC decided it was a perfect day to drop some new heat.

The Coke Boys leader was originally linked to Bad Boy when the labeled was under Interscope. Now the follow up to 2013's Excuse My French will benefit from a new promotion, marketing, sales and distribution partnership between Epic Records and Diddy, founder of the iconic Bad Boy brand.

"French Montana is a proven hit maker," Diddy said in a statement. "When I first heard him, I knew he had that special Bad Boy sound and I believed in his potential."

French Montana joins DJ Khaled, Future and Yo Gotti on the Epic Records roster.
