French Montana Returns to His Homeland Morocco in ‘Famous’ Video [WATCH]
French Montana returned to his homeland of Morocco in his new video for “Famous,” his new single from his latest album, Jungle Rules.
In the Director X-helmed clip, French takes viewers on a picturesque journey of his Moroccan roots. In one heartfelt scene, French visit his grandmother’s grave.
From the people who live and work in the city to children who play soccer in the streets, the message is clear -- French never forgets where he comes from. At the end of the video, French invites us to a party featuring belly dancers and musicians.
"This video means a lot to me!! Shot this in my motherland Morocco with my bro @idirectorx. #FAMOUS. Thank you @SamsungMobileUS for partnering with me to help make this come to life!!" tweeted French.
In addition to the video, French also debuted the song on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (Jan. 17). Much like the video, French invited a few belly dancers and soccer players onstage with him. Check out the performance below.
