Frank Ocean is being sued by Mexican food restaurant Chipotle for bailing out of their ad campaign.

According to TMZ, the popular organic-themed eatery filed a suit against the Grammy-winning singer on Friday (March 7) in Los Angeles. In Chipotle’s lawsuit, they claimed to have signed Ocean to record a song called ‘Pure Imagination’ for a marketing campaign named the Scarecrow for $425,000.

But Ocean never finished the track because when Chipotle showed him the final cut of the commercial, he was angry that the company’s logo appeared at the end of the ad. When the company’s rep got in contact with Ocean’s people they informed them he wouldn’t participate in the project.

Chipotle is suing for the $212,500 advance it paid the singer plus additional damages.

Frank Ocean’s attorneys had no comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, the ‘Thinking ‘Bout You’ artist has filed legal documents to officially change his name to Frank Ocean.

According to TMZ, the crooner, whose real name is Christopher Edwin Breaux, has to make it official by posting his intentions in a newspaper once a week for four weeks in a row. The notion here is that if he’s using the name to defraud someone, potential victims can make themselves known and object in court.
