After one of the most successful years of his career, capped off with six Grammy nominations, a ghost from Frank Ocean's past has returned.

According to NME, Ocean tweeted that his dad, who left when he was only 6-years-old, is hoping to sue the singer for a large amount.

"Father wanna sue me for a million," he wrote. "Like I owe him back child support. Weak individual bought me a swiss knife at 6yrs old then dipped on me."

Although that tweet has since been deleted, Ocean left this one up: "I got his DNA though, maybe I inherited some of his karma too."

Earlier this year, Ocean also tweeted about his estranged dad. In June, he posted, "Just found out my absent father's been cyberstalking me, hi dad."

Ocean hasn't revealed anything more about his relationship and past with his father. The singer was raised mostly by his mother, Katonya Breaux Riley, in New Orleans.

Just yesterday, Ocean confessed that Channel Orange might've been his one and only album, as the singer has dreams to write a novel.
