ForteBowie (real name Denzel Ayuk) has been on his grind in the Atlanta underground scene for quite awhile now, but he’s ready to shine with his latest single and video for “Neva Been.” The song is from his latest effort, Vice Haus 2, which dropped last December.

Directed by B-Pace, the clip features the Atlanta rapper-songwriter spitting braggadocio lyrics as he goes about his day in his ATL hood. The piano-driven song was produced by Slade Da Monsta.

For those who don't know ForteBowie's pedigree -- he's a producer, singer and tunesmith who has been producing and writing since 2012. He has worked with Trinidad James and has penned tracks for rising R&B star Jacquees.

As an artist who can rap and sing, ForteBowie wants to continue to bring his own unique sound to the game without confusing his fanbase. A balancing act that he plans to get a handle on as he continues to pursue his career.

"My influences are all over the place, my music was all over the place," he told THE FADER in a 2016 interview. "I feel like it took me a minute to understand how to really focus and really develop my own sound, develop something that people can attach themselves to."

"Because when you have a project that's all over the place, it damn near patronizes your fans. You split your fans up - some people like this, some people like that, some people like that," he continues. "Everybody likes different s---. That's why with my new music, I'm focused on one kind of sound, one world I'm gonna be in. That's when everything is gonna make sense."
