Fat Joe and his entourage were brought in for questioning this past Sunday after a women alleged that they sexually harassed her on the way to Joe's hotel, but the Bronx emcee says it ain't so. The Terror Squad leader denied that both he and his crew treated the unnamed 33-year-old woman in any lewd sort of way, dismissing her claims as false and stating that her allegation was money-motivated.

"Rapper Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, members of his entourage and security staff were briefly questioned by members of the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department who were investigating false allegations made by a woman who initially posed as a fan and later claimed to be the victim of an assault after demanding money," said Joe in a statement released by his lawyer, Dawn Florio. "At no point did Mr. Cartagena or any member of his entourage assault or have any improper contact with the woman. It is truly unfortunate that false allegations such as these cause the public to doubt the claims of actual victims of sexual assaults."

The initial incident took place following Joe's performance at Madison, Wisc. venue Orpheum Theater on Sunday night. The woman claimed that she hopped in a stretch limo with the emcee and crew who she states engaged in 'inappropriate touching' and sexual harassment. She soon reported the incident to Madison police, who brought in the rapper for questioning and released him several hours later. The case still remains open, with both parties likely to have to revisit the case.

The rapper, who released his ninth studio album 'Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 (J.O.S.E. 2)', is currently prepping his tenth album 'The Darkside Vol. 1.' The album, which features production from DJ Premier, Just Blaze and Cool & Dre and features guest appearances from Young Jeezy, Clipse and Lil Wayne, hits stores July 27.
