We are about a month away from the season 2 premiere of Netflix’s hit series Marvel’s Luke Cage. While much of the storyline is under wraps, we do know is that Luke Cage is facing an evil foe that’s stronger and more bulletproof than him.

Cheo Hodari Coker, the creator and showrunner of the series, revealed that several rappers and singers will also make cameos in the series.

According to Billboard, Faith Evans, Rakim, KRS-One, Esperanza Spalding, Ghostface Killah, Jadakiss and more will pop in on the show. Most of them will be in the performing in the series’ fictional Harlem's Paradise nightclub.

Coker sees these cameos as a plus for artists who will most likely see streaming bumps following their exposure on Luke Cage. Singer Faith Evans agreed and stated that's why she will make an appearance.

"The people I would see out in the store who were not the typical Faith Evans fans would say, ‘Hey! I saw you on Luke Cage!'" she told Billboard. "Or the [person] who fixes my computer. He's a total techie geek, and he's like, ‘Oh my God!' It was funny the different people who connected to me being on the show."

Along with the cameos, each episode of Luke Cage will be named after a Pete Rock & CL Smooth song. In season one, each episode was titled after a Gang Starr song.
