Rapper Fabolous channels Marty McFly in his new, creative video for his latest single, “You Made Me.” The Brooklyn rhymer even drives the classic DeLorean DMC-12 vehicle as seen in the 1985 flick, Back to the Future.

In the visual, directed by Gerard Victor, Fab travels back in time (circa 1990s) to confront various people who gave him shade while he was a struggling rapper. In one scene, he goes back to 1995 to visit an ex-girlfriend who cheated on him with another man (played by DJ Envy).

In another scene, a young Fab tries to give a music executive his demo tape only to get the brush-off. So he travels to 1998 and bumps into the same executive with his daughter at a shoe store. This time, the “Lituation” MC is famous and signs a copy of his album for his daughter, much to his chagrin.

In the end, the video's message is clear: Never give up on your dreams no matter who gives you shade.

“You Made Me” featuring Tish is from Fabolous' new album, The Young OG Project. If you want to hear Fabo go back in time, check out his freestyle sessions on "Shook Ones Part II" and "Been Around the World (Remix)."
