Love is in the air for Erykah Badu. The R&B/soul icon appears to be in a new relationship with writer-producer Carl Jones.

On Thursday (March 31), Carl Jones, whose writing credits include The Boondocks, Black Dynamite and more, went on his Twitter page to share a black-and-white image of him and Badu snuggling together in the bed.

“When she's your love, your best friend, your creative partner, your n----, your...@fatbellybella,” he tweeted.

Then Badu tweeted back on her account, "...your shrink, your cook, your barber, your belly dancer..."

Badu's past lovers are some of the most creative rappers in the game: Andre 3000, Common, the D.O.C. and Jay Electronica. The 45-year-old Texas native tends to keep her relationships very private so we don't expect any her or Jones to detail every aspect of their courtship on social media.
