Eminem Under Fire for Ray Rice, Lana Del Rey Lyrics in ‘Shady’ Cypher Video

Eminem is known for his abrasive lyrics so it shouldn’t be a total shock that his verses in the ‘Shady’ cypher video would contain some eyebrow-raising lyrics. In the cypher, Em manages to push buttons with his rhymes and mentions Ray Rice’s domestic abuse case.

In reference to the February incident in which Ray Rice assaulted his wife Janay Rice, Eminem takes a verbal swing at Lana Del Rey.

“I may fight for gay rights, especially if the dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice / Play nice? Bitch, I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice / Like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance ’til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens,” Slim Shady raps.

The MC also takes shots at Anderson Cooper’s sexuality, Cleveland Cavaliers b-baller LeBron James and NASCAR driver Tony Stewart.

So far, Lana Del Rey, who is reportedly a huge fan of the Detroit rapper, has not responded to the brouhaha.
