Eminem is known as one of the most liked and respected rappers in the game but he also has a reputation for spewing his fair share of ill-advised rhymes. This time, it's his lyrics on "Medicine Man," from Dr. Dre's new album, Compton.

“Ain’t no one safe from, non-believers there ain’t none / I even make the bitches I rape cum," he rhymes. His alter ego Slim Shady is responsible for this one.

This isn't the first time that the Detroit native has come under fire for lyrics about rape. The rapper materialized a scene where he attempts to rape Iggy Azalea in his song "Vegas," featured on the Shady XV compilation album.

"So swallow my pride, you're lucky just to follow my ride / If I let you run alongside the Humvee / Unless you're Nicki, grab you by the wrist, let's ski / So what's it gon' be? Put that s--- away Iggy / You gon' blow that rape whistle or me? / [Whistle sound] I love it love it love it," the Shady Records founder spits.

While Eminem is coming under fire for lyrics about rape, Dr. Dre features a controversial skit in "Loose Cannons," a track detailing a woman's murder and act of burying the body.

"Dre, what the f--- are you doing? Put the gun down / Really? Why are you doin' this s--- to me again?" says a hysteric woman in the skit.

Later, the scene goes to Dre carrying the body and going to dig a hole to dump it in.

As hip-hop fans grow more socially conscious, there will be less room for misogyny and violence against women that's festered as a widely accepted notion in the culture.

In more positive news, the Aftermath Entertainment founder will donate artist royalties from Compton to the construction of a community center for kids in his hometown.

“I reached out to the Compton mayor’s office, got in touch with the mayor, Aja Brown, and I’ve decided to donate all of my artist royalties from the sale of this album to help fund a new performing arts and entertainment facility for the kids in Compton,” Dre said Thursday (Aug. 6) during Zane Lowe's radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
