The first-ever YouTube Music Awards went down in New York City last night (Nov. 3), and headliner Eminem closed out the show in style.

Following sets from Lady Gaga, M.I.A. and Earl Sweatshirt, Slim Shady performed his 'Marshall Mathers LP 2' cut, 'Rap God,' for the very first time in front of a white backdrop. His lyrical record was brought to life with the help of a live band and hype man, former D12 member Mr. Porter.

The performance doubled up as a victory dance for Em as he beat out the likes of Macklemore and Psy for the Artist of the Year award moments earlier.

'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' (which you can stream in full here) is due in stores tomorrow (Nov. 5), while the video for 'Rap God' will debut in the next two weeks, according to Detroit Free Press.
