After much speculation surrounding its existence, the Dr. Dre-produced track 'Syllables' leaked to the Internet on Tuesday (Dec. 28). The song features a supergroup of rappers that includes Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Ca$his and Stat Quo. And, the performances of each rapper are as colossal as the guest list itself.

Under Dre's signature piano beat, Eminem kicks off the musical relay race. "It is not about lyrics anymore," Em begins, sounding like his manic alter ego, Slim Shady. "It's about a hot beat and a catchy hook." From there Em, goes on a lyrical rampage: "If we gotta dumb down our style and 'A-B-C' and so be it/ 'Cause nowadays these kids, geez, don't give a s--- 'bout lyrics," he spits. "And the DJs playing them hits/ Aww this my jam, this my s---/ We don't know a word to the song all we know is the chorus/ Because the chorus repeats the same four words for us."

Em continues bashing the formulaic nature of hit singles, before passing the baton over to Jay-Z. Dre, isn't only there for the beat, he also steps up to drop a few bars, taking shots at the state of rap, and even teasing the release of 'Detox,' before 50, Ca$his and Stat Quo get their turns on the mic.

Although it is unclear when the track was recorded, shots at singer Ashley Simpson's lip synching debacle during a 2007 'Saturday Night Live' episode suggest that this may not be a new project. The edition of 50, who has beefed with Jay-Z over last couple of years, also hints that the song may not be a recent project.

No word yet if 'Syllables' will be added to Dr. Dre's 'Detox' tracklisting. His long-awaited album is due in February.
