Eminem didn't forgot about Flint, Michigan.

In his latest Instagram post, the 43-year-old rapper is encouraging his nine million followers to help bring school supplies to the students of Flint.

The city, which is not to far from Em's hometown, Detroit, was in the mix of controversy in 2014 when the water was found to be contaminated with lead which created a public health epidemic.

Now, as the city is starting to get back on its feet, it needs a bit of help. Therefore, Em is partnering with the Kids In Need Foundation, to make sure the 5,500 kids in Flint's school system have all of the necessary supplies needed for the upcoming school season.

"Continuing to keep Flint in mind. 90% of the kids in their public school system live in poverty - give us a hand getting all 5,500 students a backpack full of supplies," read the Instagram caption from Em's post.

Eminem isn't the only celebrity to lend a hand to the Flint water crisis. Earlier this year, Beyonce launched a fund to help Flint residents under her BeyGOOD imprint. Meek Mill, Big Sean, Diddy and more also donated water to the residents.

Big Sean also posted some touching words to the Flint residents amidst the water crisis. "Flint I love you, Im sorry you have to deal with this tragedy!" read his tweet. "This is a state of emergency n I have been seeing how me n my family can help."

To get involved, Eminem encourages his followers to donate here.
