Eminem Commits Suicide in Eerie ‘Space Bound’ Video

Eminem is on fire. His joint album with Royce da 5’9″ under the moniker Bad Meets Evil is currently the No. 1 album in the country. But, instead of doting on that chart-topper, the Detroit rapper drops the music video for ‘Space Bound,’ a track off his other solo No. 1 album, ‘Recovery.’

Back in February, the ‘Space Bound’ video shoot turned heads when photos of retired porn star Sasha Grey coming out of a trailer with Eminem surfaced … and made people think “What was going on in there?” But Em’s video actually has a grave twist. Directed by Joseph Kahn it channels the rapper’s split personality and ultimately ends with Em committing suicide.

The two Eminems are picked up by Grey — his girlfriend in the video — on the side of the road and they continue to a nearby diner, where Em sneaks a peek at her text messages and discovers she’s been cheating on him. Things turn even more melodramatic at a motel later where Em assaults his gal only to discover she’s not even there. Presumably feeling a little insane, he pulls out the gun and shoots himself in the head with blood splattering everywhere.

The video doesn’t exactly end on a happy note, but it does keep you thinking. Check it out below.
