Eminem's longtime agent Cara Lewis, who spent 23 years managing the career of hip-hop acts at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME), has taken on a new position at Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Lewis took the new role and will work out of CAA's New York office, under the guidance of Rob Light, the agency's managing partner and head of music. Eminem is expected to follow Lewis to her new agency, where she would continue guiding his entertainment career.

"Cara has built a remarkable career cultivating the careers of some of the most acclaimed artists in music today," Light stated. "Her expertise of the urban market, ability to innovate, and keen eye for talent will be great assets to our continued growth."

Lewis has been instrumental in developing deals and branding for the artists such as Common, 50 Cent, The Roots, Rihanna, B.o.B. and Kanye West. The latter and Lewis dissolved their working relationship several months ago, according to a source. West currently has no music representation.
