The "Read All About it" singer wed longtime boyfriend Adam Gouraguine, whom she had been with for seven years, in the coastal city of, Kotor, Montenegro, on Saturday (Sept. 15), surrounded by a small group of close friends and family.

"It was a fairly traditional service in the evening," a source told the Daily Record, of the wedding. "Emeli looked beautiful in a designer dress. Her fiance wore a lounge suit. There will be more celebrations before everyone heads home but Emeli now has some time off so will get to enjoy a proper honeymoon."

Sande will reportedly be taking her marine biologist husband's last name, which is Montenegrin, and henceforth be professionally known as Emeli Sande Gouraguine.

Speaking on Montenegrin television, the 25-year-old newlywed revealed that she intends to embrace his cultural tradition, in addition to taking his last name.

"I want to be the part of his life and his family, so I want to add his surname. I would also love to have a Montenegrin passport. I want to be part of his tradition," she explained.
