The ongoing divorce battle between Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell is getting messier and messier. Over the weekend, the police were summoned to Pulliam’s soon-to-be former home after the actress’ mother wouldn’t allow Hartwell inside to get his belongings.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the former NFL player was at the Atlanta home to retrieve his property at his scheduled time. Pulliam wasn’t there, but her mother was keeping watch and when Hartwell tried to enter the house he was blocked.

Apparently, Keshia put all of Hartwell’s belongings in boxes and stored them in the garage. She then told her mother that he wasn’t allowed inside the home at all. So the 38-year-old ex-footballer had to call the police so he could be escorted inside the house and get the rest of his stuff.

“It hurt his feelings,” a source told Page Six. “It’s just Keshia being petty.”

The home, which Pulliam and Hartwell rented during their six-month marriage, is up for sale. The former Cosby Show star plans on selling the property and moving into a new place before the baby is born.

Hartwell told Page Six that in February he “had a sit-down” with his wife. “I said, ‘I think we probably messed up. I think we moved too fast.' Our lives and wants are headed [in] two different directions.”

We hope that Pulliam and Hartwell can cease with the pettiness for the baby's sake.
