Sometimes it takes one of rap's older, legendary figures to set a couple of younger rappers straight. That's how some may look at it after they hear E-40's take on the beef between Kodak Black and Lil Yachty.

As we shared earlier, Kodak called Lil Boat and D.R.A.M. "square ass n-----" for using the term "Broccoli" to describe weed without his say-so. E-40, however, told everyone to stop beefing— one because it's a waste of time, and two because he called marijuana "broccoli" 23 years ago in the early 90s, long before either one of them were even born.

"In 1993 I refer weed as Broccoli on my song 'Practice Looking Hard,'" he wrote next to a clip of the actual video. "In 1998 I made a song called 'Broccoli' on my gold double album The Element of Surprise. #ProblemSolved, #Broccoli, F--- beef. Get money."

Here's hoping the youngsters listen to their elders.
