Let's keep it real. We need more estrogen in hip-hop. Granted, Rapsody, Jean Grae, Nitty Scott, MC and others are making noise, but we need more female MCs. Enter Dynasty. The Queens-bred rhymer who just dropped a head-nodding banger, 'Street Music.'

Produced by DJ Premier, the first thing you'll hear is Premo cutting up quotes from classic tracks by Redman, Antoinette ('I Got an Attitude'), Big Daddy Kane and Big Shug.

Then Dynasty (aka Ya Girl, Dy) comes in spitting crazy braggadocios rhymes to remind listeners that she is more than a pretty face.

"In walks the girl with her hair all wooly / Flow on swole / The unsuspecting bully / I am not what you thought / Bodied suckas for sport / Slaughter the ones I caught / Recorded and then report, yeah," she raps.

Dynasty later adds that she's the genuine article and not a fabricated rapper who wears nice clothes.

She spits, "Truth is I rather be a genuine street peasant / Than a rich fraud / So I spit and rip bars / Premo told me I'm a spit queen, spit hard."

'Street Music' is from Dynasty's upcoming album, 'A Star in Life's Clothing,' which features guest appearances from Talib Kweli, Skyzoo and others. The collection will be available digitally on Oct. 18 via Jakarta Records. Click here to pre-order the album.
