In the latest installment of "how Drake is winning," the rapper went on Instagram to share the news that his most recent album, Views, is now officially the first album to achieve over 1 billion streams on Apple Music.

The news comes on the heels of the release of his dramatic new short film, also in support of Views, called Please Forgive Me.

"Thanks to everyone," Drake wrote on Instagram regarding his latest accomplishment. "OVO sound to the [world]."

Views has arguably been Drake's biggest album release thus far. The album, which features hits like "Controlla" and "One Dance," is the first album this year to gain triple platinum status in the United States. The album also held held the #1 spot on the Billboard chart for seven weeks, making him the first man to do that in 16 years, since the release of Eminem’s 2000 classic, The Marshall Mathers LP.

Maintaining his stride musically, Drake said last week that he's about six or seven songs in to recording new music for an upcoming album. Additionally, it's been announced that he has collaborative projects with both Gucci Mane and Kanye West in the works.
