Apple has released its charts ranking the most popular movies, TV shows, music, apps, books, and podcasts in the U.S. for 2017, and Drake had the No. 1 album of the year with More Life.

The Toronto rapper released More Life back in March, with appearances from Kanye West, Quavo, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Giggs, Sampha, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and more. The 22-song project is the follow up to Drake's 2016 album Views. The success of that album earned him an Album of the Year Grammy nomination. Views spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became the longest run of any male artist since 1992.

Drake premiered More Life during the March 18 episode of his Beats 1 radio show, OVO sound before releasing it for purchase and on other streaming services. The album is filled with afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop, and r&b making it an album that has something for everyone. "Glow" featuring Kanye West, "Portland," featuring Quavo and Travis Scott, "Do Not Disturb," "Teenage Fever," and "Free Smoke," were all standout songs on the album.

This latest news caps what's shaped up to be a great year for Drizzy. Just yesterday, it was announced that he leads Pandora's Top Thumb Hundred list for 2017. The list tallies up the most-streamed artists on their platform. Drizzy is in the lead with nine songs in the top 100, including “Fake Love” and “Passionfruit.”  Drake is also featured on Spotify's 2017 Most-Streamed List along with the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and The Chainsmokers. Drake’s More Life is the second-most streamed album of the year behind Ed Sheeran's Divide.
