Drake owns 2015 and the year hasn't even come to an official close. To continue his reign right into the new year, the Toronto rapper could be helping you kickstart your 2016 with his highly anticipated album, Views From the 6.

The news hasn't come straight from Drizzy's mouth but rather from a teaser post featured on the Daily Rap Twitter account. If you're a fan of the boy, you already know the forthcoming album has become synonymous with prayer hands and the number six. Of course both are featured in the video along with the OVO Sound symbol, the owl.

To draw you in further, a cloudy sky serves as the backdrop while Drake's face pulses to the sound of a heartbeat; he looks up to the heavens with his hands in prayer. "Hope you're ready to face him," flashes across the clip. Sounds serious.

January is the intended arrival and those still nursing a hungover after New Year's Eve will surely appreciate some tunes to get them into a better zone. "Hotline Bling" will surely appear on Views From the 6, a project that Drake has been pretty tight-lipped about when it comes to who he's working with. If there's one thing we do know it's that Noah “40” Shebib, his longtime collaborator, will have much to do on the production end of the album.

2015 has certainly been a banner year for Drake, who's had two No. 1 albums to his name: February's If You're Reading This It's Too Late and his joint effort with Future, What a Time to Be Alive.

Keeping the moment going into January only works in his favor. If there's any truth to this visual, Drake's Views From the 6 will arrive on Jan. 6, 2016. Take a look at the teaser below.
