Drake tried to intervene when a man in England was threatening to jump off a bridge.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Drizzy just wrapped up a show at Manchester Arena on his Boy Meets World Tour when his van was caught up in traffic. After finding out what was causing the delay, the rapper sent someone to ask if he could help.

"One officer was approached by a male from a tour van caught up in the traffic congestion, claiming to be part of Drake's entourage," said Inspector Phil Spurgeon, of the City Centre Intergrated Neighborhood Policing Team. "He offered for Drake to speak to the male on the bridge, if that would help. The offer was declined with thanks."

When all was said and done, the troubled man came off of the bridge unharmed and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

Drake has yet to comment on the suicide attempt and if nothing else, he should get credit for his empathy, as well as his altruism. Although, he's not the only rapper who intervened during an attempted suicide. Back in 2010, T.I. helped talk a man off of a ledge, when he threatened to jump off a 22 story building.
