Drake Reveals Dates for 2017 Houston Appreciation Weekend

Drake may be from Toronto but the Canadian rapper loves the city of Houston. The “Passionfruit” artist recently announced the return of OVO Houston Appreciation Weekend event.

The 4th annual event is scheduled to take place in Texas from July 20 through July 23 although the special events have yet to be announced. Drake made the announcement on his Instagram account, sharing a logo for the event but no other details.

Past Houston Appreciation Weekends have featured kickball and softball games with athletes and celebrities as wells live performances from Future, Fetty Wap, Boosie Badazz and Drake himself.

In addition to his Houston Appreciation Weekend, Drake is also gearing up for his annual OVO Fest in his hometown, having just announced the line-up, which is stacked with OVO artists.
