Seems that Drake's ankle injury has caught up with him. The rapper is postponing upcoming dates on his Summer Sixteen Tour under doctor's orders.

"We are over 50 shows in and I have done everything to power through my recent ankle injury and leave it all out there on the stage every night," Drake wrote. "I hate to be told I can't do something, but under doctor's orders to allow me time to recuperate."

The rapper has been touring extensively since the beginning of July, having appeared at 50 shows across the U.S. The tour has been nothing if not incredibly eventful, from a high-profile jewelry robbery, to Drake taking shots at New York's Hot 97, engaging in more beef with Meek Mill and of course, featuring everyone from Eminem to Gucci Mane and LeBron James on stage with him. Drake shared the news of his postponed dates on his October's Very Own blog.

Drizzy did promise to make up the dates to his fans. He also promised new music upon his return, and of course, a stronger ankle.
