Dancehall superstar Popcaan recently dropped a new video for his latest single, “Unruly Prayer.” The solemn clip features a brief cameo appearance from Drake.

The entire visual features Popcaan and his friends paying a somber tribute to friends and family who have either passed away or are in jail. Drake and members of his OVO crew make an appearance in a show of solidarity for Popcaan’s message.

Now you may be wondering what is the special connection between Drizzy and Popcaan?

The “Everything's Nice” singer had been part of the OVO crew for quite some time. Popcaan appears on Drake’s latest mixtape/album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late. First, on the track “Know Yourself” where he sings an acapella version of his song “Ghetto (Tired of Cryin).” Then on “No Tellin,” he gives a shout out to Unruly, which is the name of his crew and record label.

In a 2014 interview with Complex, Popcaan explained his musical relationship with Drake. "You know Drizzy Drake ah me linky. Big up Drizzy Drake anywhere him deh, ’ cause them man they say OVO unruly, so it’s a good feeling," he said. "Because there’s a lot of artists in Jamaica. And my label name Unruly Entertainment and him say 'OVO unruly,' so you dun know it’s a lot of people Drake even make zoom in pon Popcaan music too. So big up Drizzy."
