It pays to be a rapper. Drake recently had the opportunity to enjoy Ohio State University and Clemson compete in the Orange Bowl right from the sidelines at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Friday night (Jan. 3).

The rapper shared several photos of the moment from his prime spot along with his October's Very Own (OVO) homies. "Drake being on our sideline is absolutely awesome. Only at Ohio State," tweeted Kirk Barton, one of Ohio State University's coaches, along with a photo of the rapper's badge.

Drake has been an avid OSU fan for some time. “I see all this money through my Ohio State Buckeyes,” he raps on his song 'Uptown' while he rocked a Buckeyes jersey in the video for 'Miss Me.' However, his presence at the game wasn't a good luck charm. Clemson beat Ohio State in a final score of 40-35.

Aside from college football, the 'Nothing Was the Same' creator loves his sports. He performed for the National Hockey League in 2012, and dubbed himself a "FIFA GOD" not too long ago. He also serves as the global ambassador for the NBA's Toronto Raptors.
