Drake’s Special Moment at National Spelling Bee Is a Surprise [VIDEO]

Drake's influence is everywhere, even when it comes to education. The Young Money rapper has not only cultivated a new sound musically, but culturally, he has become a staple in everything that is hot and current. Last night (May 28), Drake was featured as an example to aid one of the contestants in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Can you say dope?

The word was "bacchius," which means a rare metrical foot used in formal poetry. The contestant asked the judges to use the word in a sentence. What happened next was hilarious. "Drake's next mixtape contains a rap in which every verse begins and ends with a bacchius," said the judge. This, of course, earned a chuckle from the young speller and brownie points from Drizzy, who shared the moment on Instagram.

Despite the "10 Bands" MC being in the midst of his Jungle Tour, it's good to see that he manages to sneak in some down time and laugh about things like this. After wrapping up his show in Detroit earlier this week, Drake will perform tonight (May 29) in Chicago and finish off in Montreal, Toronto, and finally New York for Governors Ball on June 5.

Hopefully, he has a bacchius on a couple of new tracks from his next studio album, Views From the 6, slated to drop later this year.
