After a strong set at Coachella, Drake delivers the recorded version of "My Side" which he performed live at the musical festival on Sunday evening (April 12).

The synth-filled slow burner finds Drizzy delving into a relationship that just doesn't seem to be working. He claims the woman never wants to come visit him and likes to stay in her New York City apartment. This is a long distance deal that won't end well. And although he seems to plead on the chorus, it's too late for their romance.

“Why are we wasting our relationship on a relationship / Why are we forcing and rushing it / This isn't making sense / Why are focusing on things that mean nothing, girl / Why can't find time and discuss it, girl," Drake sings.

He does throw in, “I empower girls that don’t deserve it / I don’t mean to do that shit on purpose,” possibly referring to being flirty, but he still claims to be true to his girl.

The song is one of the bonus tracks featured on the physical version of his hit album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which is set to release on April 21. The other bonus track is "How About Now." The digital format originally dropped on Feb. 12 and was accompanied by the short film, Jungle. The rapper will be starting his six-date Jungle Tour with Future on May 24 in Houston.

And in other Drake news, his makeout session with Madonna at Coachella has been hitting headlines with reports the MC didn't want the lip lock to go down. While fans had their own (not so positive) opinions about the kiss, the "No New Friends" artist is addressing the backlash.

"Don't misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel [100] about that forever. Thank you @madonna," he wrote as the caption for an Instagram photo featuring the kiss seen around the world.
