Drake has had a fantastic year and now he’s ready to kick off 2014 on a comedic and musical high note. The OVO leader has been tapped to host and perform on NBC’s late-night sketch comedy series, 'Saturday Night Live.'

The rapper-singer will pull double duty when the show returns from its hiatus on Jan. 18.

Drizzy joins Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and many others who have hosted and perform on the legendary program.

This won’t be Drake’s first appearance on the show. The 27-year-old rap superstar perform as a musical guest in October 2011 and appeared in a few sketches with host Anna Faris.

So this isn’t much of a stretch for Drake since he’s done it before. Also, you can currently see him on the big screen starring opposite Will Ferrell in the comedy, 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.'

At the end of January, Drake will be vying for trophies as he’s up for five nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album for 'Nothing was the Same.' CBS will air the ceremony live from Los Angeles on Jan. 26 at 8PM ET.

Have fun Drake!
