After collaborating together on “Back on Road,” it looks like Drake and Gucci Mane are planning to release a joint EP together.

Hitmaker Zaytoven revealed to Vlad TV that Drizzy and Guwop are going to call themselves The 6ers for their untitled project. The name is a nod to Drake and Gucci’s nicknames The 6 God and Zone 6, respectively.

“Gucci and Drake started talking,” he told Vlad. “And you know how Gucci is, ‘Hey man, we gotta do a tape together. We gotta do something together.’ And Drake like, ‘Bet. We gotta do it.’"

"Right then, they started thinking about a name and then Drake said, I think he said, ‘We oughta call it The 6ers‘ or something like that because I guess where he’s from, they call it the 6 and Gucci Mane is from Zone 6. Then we just ran with it.”

As of right now, the project is in its early stages, but Zay and Mike WiLL Made-It are crafting beats for them. "Everybody was in agreeance with it," says Zaytoven. "It was like, ‘Okay, that’s what we’re gonna do.’ And we started making songs on it already.”

Zaytoven says two beats are already in the can. The 36-year-old producer says once Drake finishes his "Summer Sixteen Tour," he'll get both of them back in the studio.
