Drake’s Dallas stop on his “Summer Sixteen” tour cost him some money. The 6 God was hit with a major fine for going past his time on Thursday night (July 21).

According to TMZ, Drizzy was fined $13,000 for performing past midnight at American Airlines Center. Drake knew that he would have to come out of pocket for performing past curfew. Apparently, the arena fined him $6,500 for every 15 minutes he played past midnight.

In a fan video, Drake is asking the crowd if he should continue to perform. He suggested an hour and a half before the crowd urge him to go the full extra two hours. “Y’all trying to go for the two-piece?” he asked. “I’m trying go for the two piece too, he tells the enthusiastic crowd before performing "0 to 100."

Drake's "Summer Sixteen" tour is not without any surprises. During his set in Dallas, he threw a soft jab at his now rap rival Joe Budden. “I shoulda brought Joe Budden up here to let him do ‘Pump It Up’,” he joked, referencing the rapper's 2003 chart-topping hit. “F--- them n----s.”

Budden responded with the blistering track "Just Because" where he continues to bait Drizzy to drop some bars.

“I’m still on ‘Energy,’ let’s see if he ‘Charged Up’ now / And I’ll be sure [Al B. Sure] he’s in the secret garden / I found with lions, tigers, bears, Tahiry, dolphins, wow," he raps.

Hopefully, Drake won't get any more fines for his subsequent dates on the "Summer Sixteen" tour. Nevertheless, it's good to see the Toronto rhymer giving the fans what they want no matter the cost.
