Drake Fans Send Special Birthday Video to Rapper With Candice Glover’s Help

'American Idol' winner Candice Glover made no secret of her love for Drake during Season 12 of the reality singing competition. Today, she wishes the Toronto native a happy 27th birthday with the help of hundreds of his adoring fans.

Glover is featured in a birthday video alongside Drake's loyal "Team Drizzy" supporters. In the eight-minute clip, fans cover his lauded track 'Hold On We're Going Home." The visual begins with the words, "We heard it was someone's birthday,' appearing onscreen before the 'Idol' star begins singing, "Guess who's it is? Guess who's it is? It's yours."

Drake fans young and old and of various nationalities and races sing the song in homemade videos. After the track comes to an end, they each send a special birthday wish to their favorite rapper.

During 'American Idol' Season 12, Glover famously sang Drizzy's 'Find Your Love.' In one episode he surprised the contestant, who listed Drake as one of her “top 5 favorite things in the world.” I’m so proud of you,” he told Glover on the show.

After winning 'Idol,' she told MTV that she'd love to collaborate with him on her debut album. "I would love if Drake or The Weeknd would be on my album! I've been trying to reach out and get that done, as much as I can; I don't have any authority," she said. "I can't demand Drake to be on my album, he's been in the game for so long; but, I'm definitely going to try. That would be amazing!"
